Quite a powerful little machine!

It took out stains that had been there for years! Also purchased this at Best Buy because they offered the best deal AND with free shipping. Only issue with the littke machine is that it leaks in some parts, but it is spraying water, so that is expected and fair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the job, could be improved

Works as intended. The tube sucking the dirty water is too short. One more foot would have been reasonable. It's not pleasant working with such a short tube. I need to keep the machine really close, sometimes it falls on its side, when I work. As if the company making the device never tried it. Hello?!
Also, the air exhaust for the motor is underneath the machine. There is not enough clearance for the air the be expelled. There is a restriction imposed on the air wanting to exit the motor, and because of that, some suction power is lost. What I do is, I elevate the machine 1 inch, with an object, and I gain some power.
Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to do. But I am not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

can another cleaner be used (like dawn detergent),

Waiting buy this item but want to see if Dawn detergent be also used. Dawn works great on everything, even ducks covered in oil from ocean oil slicks.

This little thing is amazing! I highly recommend. I use an extension cord and use this to wash my car upholstery and floormats after big camping/kayaking trips. I use it monthly on all my rugs and even on the cat tree. I love the new design with the self-cleaning attachment, so if anything starts to plug the hose, it can rise out.
My only complaint is that the "ProHeat" makes it sound like it heats the water, but it doesn't actually do that.

Petite machine qui répond à mes attentes. Mes chaises de cuisine sont devenues aussi belle qu’à l’achat et le cousin de rembourrage a même reprit son gonflant. Beau travail sur mon tapis d’entrée aussi.
Seul bémol, réservoir petit … ok si on fait de petits projets.

Have Bissell's full-sized carpet cleaner which is great but this is just soooo convenient for my doggo's occasional up-chucks and accidents. I don't put any cleaning solutions in the tank, just warm water (best for biological cleaning) then I spray the area with my preferred Nature Clean spray, leave it 30 secs, scrub with the Bissell head and then suck it all away!

Easy to assemble, and easier to use...was a little surprised that it did not heat up the water itself,but...no big deal. Just do remember to put in the hot water and not cold. The unit did really good job for the smaller spots, like up to a foot in area....a little tedious to try and do a bigger area, but it performed like a champ for what it is designed for.
