Attractive knife set, but not useful for an active household. The alert that these knives can't go in dishwasher should be prominent in sales advertising, and in knife set packaging. We didn't see this, and put knives in dishwasher. They were ruined. Handles became sooty, like charred firewood, and couldn't be cleaned. We tossed the set in our garbage. What household, in daily use, is going to hand wash knives?

I bought a set of these knives 25 years ago, & I still have them! They are nearly as sharp as the day I bought them (I've never sharpened them)! I could not pass up an opportunity to buy another set! These knives are WONDERFUL!!!

The knives are plenty sharp, but when you wipe them dry after a use, I can feel a burr at the tip of the blade. My older serrated knives I have I purchased years ago do not have this, and never did.

Although the knives blades are very nice when they say don't put through dish washer
they mean it. The handles become very tarnished. They no longer have their luster.
