I bought this set for my daughter's birthday. We have used these knives with the aluminum handles for years. We tend to place all our utensils in the dishwasher so the aluminum handles did not do well. We replaced most of our Rada cutlery with the Black Resin handles which does very well in the dishwasher. They are the best knives I have ever used. I would recommend them to anyone.
