Window ac unit

Cools good but when the compressor is running it vibrates and makes noise. Second unit I’ve had but this one is much noisier. Looks like the copper tubes outside are too close to the outside cover and vibrate against these at times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Metal on Metal vibrations

After 2 years this model started vibrating to the point where I had to wedge a piece of rubber into the frame to keep the copper tubing from hitting the external casing. Bad design! And at some points the vibrations are so bad that the whole room seems to be shaking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love the quietness

My daughter bought this same machine on 6/3/25 only it was a 8300 BTU. it was installed and worked beautifully for 3 mos. It was put away for winter. It was put back in on 6/23 for the upcoming heat wave. it immediatelyshowed a P1 and had to keep draining water. The pump failed. I had together a few one immediately because I am 88 yrs old. I got a 10300 this time because I love it. I will get the other one fixed but to should not have happened. I am a big GE FAN. Do better GE. ty for reading my rant.

Loud vibration and bad air temp control

Does not seem to measure the air temp well and turn on when it needs too. Also there is a loud vibration when it’s on. The set up was easy and the extra window view is nice.

We recommend checking that the front grille is in good condition, the air filter is clean, and the unit is installed properly. Remove the grille and inspect it to confirm it is not damaged. If it is not broken, reinstall the grille.

I purchased the same model for my wife's room last year.... Excellent decision. Quiet, cools quickly and was reasonably priced. So, I purchased this one for the spare bedroom for the same reasons.

I got the 10,000 btu unit. Keeps the lower lever of my house cool, even on some hotter days. Air conditioner is nice and quiet too.
