My mother had a paring knife that was her favorite. I ended up with it after she passed away. That knife was at least 40 years old, and I wanted a new one but the name was not on it.. then I saw the Rada knives. I ordered several different types, and yes this is it. Love them.

I love the knives but anytime I put them in the dishwasher they come out with a black residue only on the handles. The rest of the knife isnt turning colors. I'm concerned because I'm not sure what this black stuff is transferring off into my hands.
