The battery lasts for so long with them an its so light weight and very durable and not easily broken (small kids), I love these so much and love the rig product.

Great gaming headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a LOT of headphones from multiple brands. I've been using my over-the-ear noise-canceling headphones on my series X for the last year. They are great but don't have Dolby Atmos and I have to plug them into the box controller - not very convenient.
So, I started looking for a wireless gaming headset for my xbox. Enter the RIG 800 PRO HX. I've been using this headset for the last week and REALY like it. They are lightweight, comfortable, sound really good, don't make my ears hot, and charge easily because of the base station. I really like that I can just set them in the charger at the end of a gaming session. When I come back, they are ready to go.
The sound is good but not perfect. I haven't done any customer EQ work yet. I'm just using the default setting in the Atmos app. The sound is CLEAR and loud. Plus, the surround nature of the Atmos mix REALLY works. I can hear footsteps and their direction much better when playing FPSers. The sound is a bit "tinny". I want to make the mids a bit more robust, but I think I can change this with the EQ.
The on-headset controls are nice. I mostly use them to mute the mic (by lifting the boom) or controlling the volume. The earcups are comfortable and can be worn for hours on end.
Overall, this is a great gaming headset.
I would give this headset 5 stars it also had ANC.
PS. setting it up wasn't hard but I needed to quit the Atmos app and restart it before it recognized my headset.

The microphone & sound quality with 3D audio is amazing. The battery last up to 24 hours and included is a USB wireless adapter & charge cable with the charging stand.

Comfortable & High Quality!

Cons: 10.8 ounces
The Nacon Rig 800 Pro HX Head Set is really nice! This headset is more mid-weight but it’s comfortable, easy to set up, has great sound quality, and a long battery life. The instructions are all picture based, which are mostly straight forward but slightly confusing on the connect options. I just prefer plugging the dongle in and not having to move the base around. However, they are very straightforward to charge, and you can charge them two different ways, either using the base or plugging them directly into the cord. They take a long time to charge but they last a long time.
I was able to try this headset on the Xbox S and Windows 10. Both options are plug and play. For PC all I did was plug it in, it immediately recognized them, then I powered them on and had zero issues using them immediately. I did download the Dolby Access App to have control over the pre-set sound settings. For Xbox S, all you do is switch the dongle off of PC and then plug it in. It also automatically finds it then you can go adjust the settings if needed. I love how easily this headset connects to both.
For adjustability and comfort, I am impressed. This headset is what I would consider mid-weight, it’s 10.8 ounces, comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and it is adjustable too. I assumed I’d need it on the smallest setting so I tried that first and I was so surprised when it was too small, because I have a small head. Medium is perfect for me. No tightness, or pressure spots. I am also a glasses wearer as well. It is heaver than what I am used to so it did take some time for my neck to adjust.
As far a functionality this headset is very user friendly. In order to mute the mic you just flip it up, then to unmute you just flip it back down, it does make noise in both instances too so you can tell. Volume is easy to control, both overall and chat. The range is also good.

The overall sound quality is fantastic. This headset puts out beautiful, high-quality, crisp sound. In addition, the microphone also works really well. No issues with other people hearing me.
All in all, this is a really nice headset! It’s comfortable to wear, easy to use, the sound quality is great, and it’s super user friendly! I would absolutely recommend it!

The sound quality is great, they're comfortable, they're cordless and that is by far one of, if not the best features. They charge quickly and stay charged for a while. And they're made well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very light and easy to use. They have a great battery life. They fit very well to my ears. I do wish that they were a little louder. The mic if very clear and no one can tell when i am using them to talk on my phone.They do cancel out sound well also, comming from a parent of 6 kids, it helps with the toddler screaming during a tantrum.
