I bought the otterbox defender series with the pop socket. After about two days the pop socket ripped right off the back of the case when I went to pull it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy if you plan on using wireless charging!

This case is too thick to allow wireless charging. I would not buy this again if I had the choice. Get one of the cases without the pop socket built in.

Additionally, you will tend to find better results when you're charging your phone in the flat orientation, as most non-OtterBox wireless charging stands won't line up properly with the coils of your phone while in a Defender Series case in the vertical position. I got the grey and the lemon pop socket because I got the yellow iPhone. I didn't know it came with a grey pop socket on the case, too. Let's be honest, phones these days are so large and heavy that the pop socket does NOT prop them up either vertically or horizontally. It's more for hand comfort.

Instructions on how to install would have been nice since this is my first Defender, had to look up on You Tube.
