While I loved the case for my IPhone 10, I ordered the same when I got my IPhone 11. When it arrived I was excited until I tried to use it to prop up my phone. Because it is not centered.. it does not work.

Hey, Christine!
We're sorry to hear about any frustration you're having with your Otter + Pop Defender Series case. While using that OtterBox as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out then angling one side up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. Additionally, we recommend having the camera-side of your phone down and close to the stable surface. We hope this helps!
I’ve had OtterBox cases for other phone and they did their job of protecting my phone. I’m sure this one will too, but not if I wee to drop it screen down. I don’t like that the defender series no longer comes with a screen protector. I looked all thru the website and could not find the original case with the screen protector. Then I realized that a new way to make money was discovered by selling screen protectors separately. If I hadn’t thrown the box away, I would return this and look for something that protected the whole phone.

Hi there!
We're sorry to hear about any disappointment with your new Defender Series case! After extensive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the display of this device was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. Additionally, this case provides the same level of drop protection offered by Defender Series cases of the past, as the screen protector did little in regards to direct impacts. Furthermore, the addition of Alpha glass or Amplify provides you with a premium level of protection never offered by the Defender Series before. If you have any questions about those protection options, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here: https://www.otterbox.com/en-us/contact-us
Bought for my girlfriend. The case is fine but the pop socket broke immediately out of the box. Bought a new pop socket, well it's not centered in the back of the phone case, so if you use it to try and prop your iphone up the phone will just fall over because the center of gravity is off. Better off buying a case without the pop socket and just sticking one on after market. The case itself is durable, normal otterbox.

Hey, Jonathan!
We're sorry to hear that your girlfriend's Otter + Pop Defender Series case broke so rapidly! Keep in mind, PopSockets does have a warranty on the PopTop, so if you still have hers, reach out to them for a replacement! As for using that case as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out then angling one side up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. Additionally, we recommend having the camera-side of your phone down and close to the stable surface.
If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you taken care of.
This is probably the 6th or 7th defender case I've purchased for myself or my husband. I get one for every new iPhone. They are the only cases that protect my absurdly expensive phone from the unavoidable damage inflicted by young children (and my clumsy hands). This is my first Defender with a built-in Pop Socket and I love it! It's so much sleeker than adding a Pop Socket to a regular case and I was able to switch the grip out for one that was more colorful (note: you can purchase replacement grips without the base from Pop Socket). Oh, and I paired this case with the edge-to-edge screen protector and I couldn't be happier! My phone is fully protected.
When I thought Otter Box couldn’t get any better...they did! I HAVE to have an Otter Box case on my phone. I feel nervous without one, especially with three young grandkids who are constantly grabbing it to play games. I was counting the days until it arrived. The PopGrip button is fabulous. It is added security while holding the phone and also prevents the carpal tunnel pain that occurs when gripping the phone in the normal manner. If I can’t have an OtterBox, I can’t function.
