I love Otterbox, great product typically. But I’m not really impressed with the design of the defender w/pop socket for the iPhone 11. It protects the phone great, but with the embedded pop socket isn’t usable in the holder and falls repeatedly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Since that PopSocket was inset further into the case in order to lay a bit flatter with the back of the case, you may find the best user experience if you pop out that PopTop halfway when using the car mount.

I put one of the removable pop thingies on my iphone X cover and it worked great. I figured a built-in pop socket would be perfect. NOT!! Not only is it uncomfortable and causes pressure points on my fingers, it also does not work as a kickstand. The phone just falls over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When it comes to using that case as a stand, we usually suggest pulling the PopTop all the way out, then angling one side up. This allows you to use the side that's still popped out as the stand for your phone. Additionally, we recommend having the camera-side of your phone down and close to the stable surface.

I bought this case and was super excited to use it one my iphone11. However, when I use the pop socket it does not prop up the phone. Huge disappointment considering how expensive this product was. I will not be purchasing your product or recommending it any further

The biggest thing I noticed Is the pop socket doesnt feel like a regular pop socket. It doesn’t open up as far as a regular one would. If you have larger fingers may feel like a tight fit.

Really like my otter box! Once I found them, I always get them when I get a new phone. They are very sturdy and colorful and don’t slip in my hand. I’m giving this one a 4 because the pop is not centered on the back. It is off balance when I try to use it as a stand for my phone.. Other than that it is just what I wanted.

When I ordered my new iPhone 11 I got a clear case so you could see the color...didn’t feel like I had any protection so I went back to Otterbox Defender as I’ve always felt secure with it! Love the built in pop socket, adds a bit of security when holding the phone and texting, viewing email, etc. I do wish the defender would be offered in cuter colors or patterns
