This is the second otter box case I have had since I owned my newest iPhone which I got just 4 months ago, both cases cracked after being dropped once. I’m grateful the phone didn’t break so I guess it did it’s job in that regard but I used life proof cases for years prior and never once had a case crack from dropping. Definitely switching back to life proof.

It's definitely a win that your iPhone emerged from each of those drops without having been compromised, but we were nevertheless sorry to hear of the cracked cases. Some of that would likely be due to the specifics of the impacts—height, angle, force, etc.—but whatever the root cause, we'll be more than happy to help with a brand-new warranty replacement if you'd be interested in giving it another go with Otter!

Pop socket on it doesn’t make phone stand up

I bought this so that I could have a safe phone and a pop socket that doesn’t stick out and get caught on stuff. The problem with the case is that the pop socket is in the wrong spot to make the phone sit up. It’s also in the wrong spot for me to hang the phone up on my pop socket holder so that I can use it in my car for maps. The phone is so heavy that it just spins around upside down. I can’t even add another pop socket on it to help the situation because of where the pop socket is located on the case permanently. It’s a bad design. Whoever made this case didn’t test it out on the iPhone 12+ before sending it out to production. I gave it 2 stars because at least it protects my phone from drops.

Love this case. Bought it recently for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Best feature is the integrated popsocket - no more stick-on or grip slide bases necessary. And the swappable top can easily be removed for wireless charging. The clear case allows the color of my iPhone to be visible. I’ve had several Otterbox cases over the years and they provide excellent quality and protection. Keep up the good work!

I gave it an extra star because I love how Otterbox protects my phone (Im a clumsy person) but this case is not worth it. It doesn’t stand up with the pop socket bc the phone is so heavy and the pop socket doesn’t come out any further. Currently working with on returning it to trade it in for a regular case but bc or the delay due to the pandemic, it’s taking more than usual. Not worth it

Won't charge wirelessly!!

I was excited for this case for my new Iphone 12 Pro Max. I love the idea of having the protection, the ability to show off the actual phone color and have the convince of the integrated PopSocket. I have prior versions and have performed well for me. It won't charge wirelessly like my others have, even when removing the top, but because it is very tight getting in and out, that's not really a good option (I was advised to prolong the battery life it is best to charge wirelessly). Very disappointed! I just ordered the Otter + Pop Figura Series case in hopes that simply removing the top will allow the wireless charging. Fingers crossed! I love Popsockets and how much easier it is to handle my larger phone. Hurry up delivery truck!!
