Powerful Unit

Bought this for a basement rental. Works really well. Still trying to figure out how accurate the reading is. Only reason im giving it 4 stars and not 5.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Regarding the humidity reading, it’s important to know that the built-in hygrometer provides a general estimate of ambient humidity, but it may not always match the precision of a standalone digital hygrometer. Small variations are normal due to factors like:
Air circulation near the unit
Placement height (floor vs. elevated surface)
Room layout and moisture sources
Sensor calibration tolerances
For best accuracy, we recommend:
Placing a separate hygrometer a few feet away from the unit for comparison
Keeping the dehumidifier away from walls or tight corners
Allowing the unit to run for a few hours before taking readings, as sensors stabilize over time
