This is my third Samsung watch in their evolution. I've liked every watch for their functions and tailorability of watch faces. My only quibble with them is that their flexibility and performance comes with the need for nearly daily recharging. Admittedly, recharging is fast. Because they're relatively inexpensive, I bought additional chargers for travel bag and office. That way. I'm not constantly unplugging and replugging a charger. Despite my nit picking, I like the watch functions and aesthetic.

I had an old Galaxy Watch 3 that I upgraded from. I wanted to Galaxy 8 Classic because I am a huge fan of the rotating bezel I had on my 3. For me this upgrade is substantial for several reasons.
The first, the battery life is pretty decent. I can run this for two solid days and I generally spend 60-90 minutes a day in workout mode. I pop it on the charger each night when I shower and it tops off in typically around 40 minutes.
Second, I love how crisp the display is, it's very appealing, especially coming from a Galaxy 3. The layout of the tiles makes it easy to navigate and customize. I typically use watch faces to track daily metrics and the amount of information you can have on your watch at a glance has really gone up. On just my watch face I have 11 separate metrics/info available. You start playing around with the "complications", which is what they call the separate information displays and you can pick from, there are close to 50 separate mini information displays you can choose from.
In short, I love this watch, especially given that I have been using Samsung phones for the past decade. Good job Samsung!

Bought for my huband and he loves it. he does a lot of work from his phone and sometimes he will open his phone to see a text but falls down the rabbit hole into work during afterhours. Receiving text on his watch has slowed this down and has been a benifit to his daily life.

This is my 3rd Galaxy Watch Classic in the lineup and, this one is the best yet, in terms of battery life, appearance and overall functionality. I am very pleased with the product. My Watch 6, from new had a tendency to not charge fully overnight or, frequently overheat during charging. this Watch 8 is leaps ahead. the appearance is elegant. I have it in silver.

The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic looks great and feels premium, especially with the rotating bezel, which is still one of the best navigation features on any smartwatch. Performance is smooth, battery life is decent for daily use, and the health tracking is solid. I do wish the battery lasted a bit longer and that more features were available without needing a Samsung phone, but overall it’s a very reliable and stylish smartwatch that I’m happy with.
