Howdy RonC123, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic. We value your feedback as we continue to improve our product line to best suit the needs of our customers. As you know, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic offers a square with rounded corners design that seamlessly blends a rounded screen with a more angular chassis. You may find that this design helps the watch sit flatter on your wrist for better comfort, it also reduces the case thickness by about 11%, and accommodates a slightly larger battery. If you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like further assistance, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support. Thanks for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Watch need better battery life but has a lot of functionality similar to Garmin. Galaxy AI is neat to have.
Disappointed that many of the health tools only work with Samsung phone. If I had known, I would have bought a Google watch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Salutations Disappointed, Thanks for taking the opportunity to reach out and share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic. We appreciate your candor as we continue to improve our product line to best suit the needs of our customers. Some health tracking limitations on your Galaxy Watch8 with non-Samsung phones are caused by Samsung restricting specialized and FDA-approved features (ECG and blood pressure) to the Samsung Health Monitor app, which only installs on Samsung devices. Other health features like heart rate, body composition, and sleep tracking work on any Android phone. Samsung has FDA approval for ECG and blood pressure readings when using our own phones which ensures data consistency and security in the ecosystem. If you would like to share additional feedback with us regarding your experience or if you would like any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Samsung Support at your leisure. Thanks for being a valued Samsung customer. - Debra

I’ve been really impressed with the Galaxy Watch 8 (large version). It feels like a solid upgrade, especially with the return of the bezel, the faster performance, and the clean white color that matches perfectly with my phone.
The return of the rotating bezel (on the Classic-style design) is easily one of my favorite features. It just makes navigating the watch smoother and more natural compared to touch-only controls. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you missed until it’s back—and it really elevates the overall experience.
Performance is another big win. The watch feels quicker and more responsive when switching apps, tracking workouts, or just moving through menus. The newer processor and software improvements make everything feel smooth and efficient, which you notice right away in daily use.
I also love the white color option. It gives the watch a clean, modern look and pairs perfectly with a matching Galaxy phone. It stands out in a subtle way and feels more like a lifestyle accessory, not just a fitness device.
On top of that, the watch is comfortable and lightweight for a larger size, with a bright display that’s easy to see even outdoors. The health features and Galaxy AI integration are nice additions too, especially things like sleep insights and daily energy tracking.
👍 What I Love Return of the rotating bezel (intuitive and smooth navigation) Faster, more responsive performance Clean white color that matches my phone perfectly Bright display and comfortable fit ⚠️ Things to Consider Battery life is solid but not class-leading Some advanced health features are still hit-or-miss ⭐ Overall If you want a smartwatch that blends style, speed, and functionality, the Galaxy Watch 8 (especially with the bezel design) is a great choice. The performance upgrade is noticeable, the navigation feels better than ever, and the white finish gives it a clean, premium look that ties everything together.
I've been using the Watch8 Classic for a few weeks now and it has been great. Nothing really bad about it, I do prefer the physical rotating bezel vs the touch bezel which makes the Classic excellent. Only things I wish were a little better would be the battery live (always want more), Gemini Integration (wish it could control more like Android Auto), and for the money you pay for the Classic, it should come with two bands, although I do really like the Hybrid band and probably would choose it over others.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great choices of custom designs. They range from simple basic to elaborate chronograph. Most customizable to your specific display tastes.
