Major improvement over the 6 classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After upgrading from the small Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, the new Watch 8 Classic has been a major upgrade. Despite the larger size, the device is much more comfortable to wear, and the design stands out more. The new software features, including additional health data and Galaxy AI, have been the cherry on top. Plus, the battery has lasted around two days on average with standard usage

Endure the two days without going through a charger. I really liked the extra button that brings to comparison the normal model for shortcuts.

I wanted the bezel on my watch, so I finally made the jump for the Watch 8 Classic. I love the look of the watch, the layout of how the watch operates compared to my old one. Still learning how to get it exactly how I want it, but no regrets on this Watch at all.

Watch8's Highlights are Dimmed by Its Weaknesses

The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 offers a compelling upgrade with its enhanced features and sleek styling, which are definite highlights. However, these shining aspects are unfortunately dimmed by a couple of significant design and performance issues.
While the rich functionality is a clear win, a minor design oversight is the classic diver's bezel. Its fixed five-minute hashmarks and ten-minute numbers cannot be reoriented, rendering them useless if you choose to wear the watch on your right wrist.
More critically, the battery life estimates are significantly overoptimistic. In my two weeks of use, I've had to charge it at least twice every three days. Each charge takes about 90 minutes, meaning the watch is out of commission for a considerable period every 24-36 hours. To avoid missing activity tracking during these frequent charging sessions, having a companion Galaxy Ring or a second watch is highly recommended.
I would recommend this to a friend!
