The rotating bezel has to stay in future models

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before buying the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, I had a Galaxy Watch 4, and I cannot even describe how much nicer the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is. First of all, let’s start with the design. It looks amazing; I truly can’t describe how good it looks in real life or how premium it feels. The stainless steel case and sapphire glass give you confidence in its long-term durability. It is also significantly faster than the Galaxy Watch 4, and the difference is noticeable, not just on paper or in a spec sheet. Even out of the box, the Galaxy Watch 4 felt laggy and struggled with certain tasks such as acting as a camera preview with my Galaxy smartphone. The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic handles that with ease. I also really enjoy how much faster it charges compared to the Galaxy Watch 4. But the biggest difference, in my opinion, is the rotating bezel. It is a complete game changer for me. I knew it was good because reviewers on YouTube constantly mentioned how much they liked it, but now that I have tried it, I do not think I will ever buy a watch without one. Even the Watch Ultra right now is not a viable option for me. I truly hope Samsung learned their lesson and will keep it moving forward in future generations. Galaxy AI has actually been very useful; the Samsung Health functionality and integration are pretty cool and genuinely helpful. I also enjoy using Galaxy AI on my S24 Ultra because many of the features are practical. All in all, I am very happy with the experience.

Classic 8 - Sleak design with lots of features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a fan of luxury Watch brands for a long time and always wanted something that mirrors a certain Watch used in space. A smart watch with the luxury feel of an automatic movement on the wrist has been a dream for me. The Watch 8 Classic is the closest we have gotten to this feeling with the stainless steel build, rotating bezel and designed ring versus the other variants. 10/10 on Aesthetics.
I actually traded in my Ultra 2024 for the 8 Classic. The functionality of both watches are very close in terms of tile set up and app availability. The slightly larger face on the Ultra makes visibility a slightly better. But the true advantage of the Ultra doesn't suit my lifestyle. I don't use my Watch in the elements and wouldn't go diving with it. I also charge my watches overnight so the shorter battery life of the 8 Classic isn't a deal breaker for me. Because there aren't any clear advantages in this subject for the 8 Classic, I give it 7/10 on functionality.
The price point of the Classic 8 is better so I feel there is an advantage in value over the Ultra - 10/10
The use of Google Assistant and Galaxy AI has been seamless on this watch. Responses are given back to me or filled in almost instantaneously.
I would love to see Samsung add a tachymeter scale to the bezel and add pigments to make the ring scale glow in the dark. I would also like to see the base of the watch more rounded and longer, deeper lug width. You could make it a "Professional" or "Elite" version.
