Return of the galaxy watch classic 8
on August 22, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've been waiting for samsung to bring back the rotating bezel for 3 generation of watches. I've had every generation of galaxy watch I'm a loyal consumer but I do have positive and negative. I love the design it's very classy I can dress it up, the return of the bezel is great but when you are certain applications it would be great if you could use the bezel as well. And also I wish the display was bigger. I'm used to the galaxy watch ultra which I also have. To wrap it up. I love both of my watches and I can choose which occasion to wear them. I've also purchased multiple bands to have different looks and will continue to do so as long as Samsung releases new bands.

So I haven't had this smartwatch for an entire day yet, and I already like this smartwatch! I like the premium design, and the classic rotating bezel. The smaller screen size isn't something I like, but the bigger battery is! And the combination of the 2, I believe, will result in better battery life over the Galaxy 6 Classic. Overall, I'm very happy I traded in, it was a deal that I couldn't pass up!! Kudos Samsung!!👏🏾
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last month, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has been a nice update. I've been on a 2yr upgrade cycle since the 4 Classic. The rotating bezel is a must for me and this year's updated rotating bezel is better than ever. Responsive, easy to use, and in sync with the software response. The new stackable tiles in the UI is taking some getting used to, but its not a bad thing. The only "Tile" that seems to have gotten a downgrade because of the new tiles is the health tile with the 3 hearts. It's smaller and harder to read on the move. I haven't found a way to resize that tile either.
The battery life seems a bit shorter compared to similar usage to my old GW6C but I also have the LTE version of the GW8C. This is a first for me, as I never needed it before. With the slightly below battery life, the smaller screen is noticeable. I thought once I stopped using my GW6C, I wouldnt notice the smaller screen as much, but its still noticeable.
Speaker doesn't feel as loud as the GW6C either. But I'm using the alerts more for when my phone is in my pocket and I can't get to it or don't hear it ringing. Not as much for phone calls on its own. I usually switch to my Buds3 Pros for that and for listening to music.
Overall, its not a bad device. For the price I paid with my GW6C trade-in, I'm happy with the watch. I'll probably eventually get over the physical changes that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating, but going from the 6 to this, I had to take a star away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who values both classic style and modern tech, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is a perfect blend of both. It feels like Samsung listened to its most dedicated fans, bringing back the beloved rotating bezel in a design that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new. The build quality is excellent, with a premium feel that looks great for a night out or during a workout.
The display is a standout feature. It's incredibly bright, making it easy to read even in direct sunlight, which is a huge plus for someone who loves to be outdoors. The rotating bezel is as satisfying and useful as ever, making it simple to navigate menus and widgets without obscuring the screen with my fingers.
One of the most impressive aspects is the integration of Galaxy AI. It genuinely feels like a game-changer. Whether I'm using the new running coach to get a personalized training plan or using the on wrist Gemini assistant to quickly get answers to questions without pulling out my phone, the AI features are seamless and genuinely helpful. The health tracking has also been a major step up with new features like antioxidant measurement and sleep apnea detection, giving me a deeper understanding of my overall wellness.

This Watch Makes Me Feel Like a Marvel Hero With a
on August 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has quickly become part of my daily routine. It looks like it belongs in a Marvel movie — except my superpower is finding snacks in 30 seconds. The stainless steel case is stylish yet sturdy enough to survive the occasional doorway collision.
The rotating bezel is so smooth, I sometimes scroll through apps just for the satisfying click. I use it for work to check messages and calendar alerts without pulling out my phone. For streaming breaks, it controls my media so I can pause a show from across the room.
It keeps me moving during the day with step tracking — yesterday I hit 12,000 steps, mostly during quick trips to the fridge. At night, sleep tracking gives me insights into how I’m resting (or not). When I’m active, heart rate monitoring helps me track workouts and sports sessions, and the built-in GPS keeps me on course during runs.
Whether I’m working, exercising, catching up on a series, or just making my day more efficient, this watch makes life feel more epic than it probably is.

Great watch, poor battery life
on August 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am coming from a Galaxy watch 6 classic and there are many upgrades with the 8. The health features and the new Galaxy AI are amazing but the battery life seems to be much lesser than previous models. I charge it to 100% every morning and by the next morning when I'm ready to charge it's at about 40%. My usage is mainly just checking notifications and workout tracking. On my watch 6 I would only be down to about 60% when I was ready to charge it the next day. Love the upgrades but this definitely needs a better battery to match the new features.

Worth the upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely worth the upgrade. I got these not to long ago, upgrading from the competition's pods. There's so many reasons why these are better. Better:
Overall sound with music and speech
Microphone, drowning out background noise, while maintaining an excellent representation of my voice
ANC
you name it, they do it better
