[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially had a Watch 6 Classic and upgraded to the Watch 8 Classic.
There's a marked improvement in battery longevity over the Watch 6 Classic lasting three days on a single charge.
The esthetics are impressive as it truly looks very professional without extra covers to modify looks as previous watches did. I like the new band with leather exterior and sport Watch underside reducing band deterioration.
Excellent, finally back to the classic stylish des

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had every watch since the actives and this one reminds me of one I had long ago still classic and stylish. 100% recommended. All my family got one. Added a shock resist case for workouts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I have loved everything about this Galaxy Watch8 Classic with the Galaxy AI technically. This is my 4th Galaxy Watch, and by far, this has been my favorite based off of the style, size, capabilities, and ease of use.
It has the physical rotating bezel, which I have always loved and very happy they brought it back, as well as the new customizable quick button that you set to load any application you want or to turn on your flashlight, and has 64 GB of internal storage, and a brighter display from previous versions.
The health tracking features always seem to be improving, and this model has been the most accurate and provides to least amount of errors or not being able to read properly, so that has been great.
Another feature I have enjoyed, and am not sure if it has been on other models, but it has a dark mode sensing feature that almost acts like it is glow in the dark display at night time that always you to easily read the bezel. You can turn this feature off.
I love watches, and so far this is the best Smart Watch that mirrors a mechanical watch that I have ever owned. I am very happy with my purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a Watch 4 Classic and have been waiting to upgrade. I liked the return of a more pronounced physical bezel on the watch as I work in Construction and the bezel has saved the screen on my previous watch more than once. So far the watch had performed well and I am easily getting 2 days battery life and have used GalaxyAI and made phone calls with it also and everything has been great. Happy with another Classic style device.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery performance significantly surpasses that of the Watch 6 Classic, now providing multi-day usage. The integrated AI functionalities streamline the utilization of Gemini. Furthermore, the design, which initially presented a challenge, is now appreciated, as the watch sits more comfortably on the wrist. An area for potential enhancement lies in optimizing the fast-charging capabilities to accommodate the increased battery capacity, as the current charging duration has become less efficient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic daily for fitness, work, and travel, and it’s easily my favorite Samsung watch so far. The rotating bezel is back and better than ever—precise, satisfying, and so much faster for scrolling through tiles during runs or meetings. The display is bright outdoors and the build feels premium without being too heavy.
Health and fitness tracking are excellent. Heart rate and GPS have been accurate on treadmill and outdoor runs, and the post-workout stats in Samsung Health (cadence, stride, training load, VO₂ estimates, etc.) help me adjust pace and recovery. Sleep tracking is detailed and the coaching tips are actually useful. Battery life has reliably lasted a full day and a half with notifications on, a few workouts, and always-on display for part of the day; a quick top-up before a workout is usually enough thanks to fast charging.
Galaxy AI features add a nice layer of convenience: smart suggested replies from the watch are surprisingly on-point, summaries help keep notifications manageable, and the interpreter/translation tools paired with the phone are handy when traveling. It all makes the watch feel a bit “smarter” without getting in the way.
Every device has trade-offs: the watch is a bit thick for sleeping if you’re used to ultra-slim bands, and heavy GPS use plus always-on display will eat into the battery. The default strap is fine, but I swapped to a softer band for long runs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im not completely sold on the design, its a bit large for a feminine wrist, but you get used to it. Battery life so far doesn't seem that much better than my 6classic. I did have quite a bit of irritation on my wrists for the first several days when I started wearing it. I thought I might need to return it. I got raised red bumps. And at times it felt like almost a 9v Battery sensation under the watch. Never had that with any previous watches, including the old Ultra. It "seems" (fingers crossed) to have resolved, so Im hoping for the best. Enjoying the Galaxy AI features and a lot of the info and recommendations from the health app. Having all the stats so visible is really nice.
