Nice feature, great quality. I put 4 stars because first time i use blender was working flawlessly but after 4-5 time motor start to make strange scratching noise even when i using different jar to make sure it was not the jar. Noise seem to slowly disappear but never the same as the first use, very noisy and if you dont put enough liquid it will run freely with a pocket of air. Overall satisfied backed up with 8 years warranty !

I used a $50 for over 10 years to make my protein shakes but I always had issues mixing oatmeal, bananas, and other stuff in these shakes. When I did, the oatmeal would clump at the bottom or the blender would feel like it was going to overheat. With the Blendtec, nothing stops it. I am now blending all my vegetables and fruits so I don't have to chew anything but meats. Best purchase ever and worth the price!

I'm not sure why I waited so long. I finally decided to go with a Blendtec because it seemed simple to use with a better design. I wasn't disappointed. The Blendtec exceeded my expectations. It fits nicely on my countertop and is easy to clean. Recipes I've made have been great.

We bought this after Christmas and use it almost every day to make smoothies or soup. I also liked the wheat bread recipe...so easy and so delicious. I bought this because it was less expensive than a Vitamix, fit under my cabinet, and it's simple to use, and comes with a smaller jar for nut butters. I also like the fact that the blades aren't sharp. I tried making pasta dough in my daughter-in-law's Vitamix and it didn't work as well, plus I had to watch trying to clean out under the blades.
