Pros: It grinds like no other blender that I have previously owned. Smoothies stay the same even after hours unlike other-blender-made smoothies that tend to settle down after sometime. It is easy to clean and I love that there is only one blade for all tasks. The pre-programmed cycles are great! I have tried a few recipes that came with the blender and they are yummmm :)
Cons: The jar turned foggy in just one cycle so forget leaving it on the counter. I wrote to customer care and they requested more information, which I provided, but am still waiting to hear back. In the meantime I purchased a second jar, and even that turned foggy within two or three times usage. Due to the powerful motor, it makes unbearable loud noise and it hops and moves on my counter-top (about 5-14 inches) while running the higher pre-programmed cycles. On one occasion, the lid pop-ed off in the middle of the cycle causing hours of cleaning :(

I bought this about a month ago and love it. We have blended just about every day. We love making smoothies. I love how durable it is and also how it blends things really smooth. It's clean up is easy and great. Best investment I believe. I have gone thru 3 other blenders and I'm glad I finally broke down and bought a blendtec. It's amazing.
