After I registered my Total Blender, the serial number corresponded to the "Total Blender Classic WildSide." I received the Total Classic blender but it came with the traditional four sided jar.
I love the blender but I am curious as to why it came with a four sided jar instead of the WildSide.
The blender has a ton of power, seems sturdy, and is a cinch to clean. Making smoothies and other drinks has become fun and I keep looking for new recipes.

I have to say that so far this blender has been extremely impressive. We've only had it a couple months and used it about 50 times.....but we're amazed by the power and performance. Yes, it's a little loud....and yes, a few times the ingredients needed to be pushed down toward the blade.....but that is true with ALL blenders, commercial quality and household! Two thumbs up!

I've been researching different blenders and finally chose one-the Blendtec. It was a great choice! I've made everything from pancake batter to ice cream and of course whole fruit/veg smoothies. It grinds grains, nuts and ice easily. It's so easy to use (you don't have to stand there and hold the top down or keep stiring the contents around-just press a button) and so fast to clean. I use it just about every day. I love it!

I borrowed my mother's Vitamix for a few months and blended with it everyday and loved it. I was convinced that was what I wanted and wouldn't be happy with anything else. I found a good deal on a blendtec and after pouring over the reviews I felt pretty good about it. I am happy to report that I LOVE my blendtec! I use it everyday for soups, suaces, green smoothies, frozen desserts....Whether you go Vitamix or blendtec, they are both awesome machines. Blendtec does have some features that I like better.
I really like the programs, I can turn it on and leave it, where the Vitamix you have to stand there and control the speed and push things down with the plunge stick. The programs make it so you don't need to use any kind f a plunge stick.
I like that the jar is square and wider than the Vitamix. It makes it easier to scrape the contents out.
It's quieter than the Vitamix.
It is shorter than the Vitamix so it's easier to store on the counter or in the cupboard.
