Prior to this, I was using magic bullet, which was atrocious. It takes many minutes to grind spinach and kale, and even then, there are many particles left. This thing does it in just a minute and the result is smooth smoothie.

After much research between the Blendtec and the Vitamix, I decided to purchase the Blendtec. I could not be happier with my decision. Although it's rather loud,
the end result is amazing and my smoothies are extremely smooth. I've no regrets, it's hands down an awesome machine. One key feature that also sold me on the product, was it's automatic presets, which makes it very user friendly. I'm looking forward to learning about all the features my Blendtec has to offer.

I have wanted a tough blender for a long time and finally bought me one. I have been VERY impressed with everything about this. I love how the strong motor is able to chop through things with ease. The thing that I love about this is it is so easy to clean after using it. With it being one piece no missing parts after pulling it all apart to clean it. no searching for parts and pieces every time you want to use it.

I bought the Blendtec mostly for making smoothies but there is no consistency in the performance of this product. I have tried the smoothie , ice crush and ice cream settings and cannot get a thickness to my liking. Most times it will not blend with ice added. Yes , I tried letting the ice sit to warm a little first but then it becomes totally liquid and I have to freeze the mixture for a while. The last time I used it , it actually seemed to be going through the ice cream cycle properly until it started smoking and shut itself off. I hope I can return it. The cheap Black and Decker unit I had was working better than this. By the way , the use counter is pointless. I have only made at most , twenty smoothies , and the counter has recorded 106.

Bought about a month ago. Still learning about it. I have found that if I don't put enough liquid it for smoothies the motor just whirs. But then I add more liquid and it's fine.
