Bought this a few weeks into a weight loss program as a way for my spouse to get in more veggies. It has been used at least 1x a day on average, soups, smoothies, etc. easy to use clean and has great features, and puts those veggies in a palatable form. :)

I purchased a blendtec beender few months ago so far I find it to be slightly above average. I also own a ninja and the blendtec is slightly ahead of the ninja. I expected the blendtec to be much better than the ninja. The quality of the ninja is slightly ahead of the blendtec. The top of the blendtec don't hold as tight as the ninja when full and in use. I've had it to leak. That don't happen with the ninja. Your motor is stronger. I've only made smoothies with it.

We decided to splurge on a Blendtec because we were tired of our blenders that did not have a powerful motor, and I hated cleaning our blender!! I love how easy this Blendtec is to use and it cleans up so quick! We are now having super healthy smoothies because it is so easy to put anything inside the Blendtec and it will blend it up to a creamy smoothie.
