Great For Every Day Use!

With two toddlers, we make A LOT of smoothies in our house. I try to jam pack their smoothies with all the good stuff- veggies, fruits and nut butters. We needed a blender that we could rely on day in and day out and really blend everything smooth so my toddlers wouldn't get large chunks that could choke them in their smoothies. So far this blender is IT! Easy to clean and makes the best smoothies!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This blender is a step-down from the classic 575. The base is made of plastic and is light enough that the blender wobbles and travels on the countertop even with smaller loads when it starts blending, once you add things like frozen strawberries. I consider this a big design flaw as compared to the 575 which I own for about 8 years now. The 575 was very stable and never experienced this problem. I bought this new blender because it's advertises that it is better liquid sealed than the 575, and the display on my 575 died due to a liquid mishap at one point, plus the jar started leaking after all these years so I thought I might as well get a new blender. I'll probably return to using the old 575 base with the broken display, with this new jar from this purchase :(

I was so excited to use this blender and now extremely disappointed from the first uses would just leak an expensive blender should not be leaking from the top when I latch everything accordingly

Plastic WildSide jar fogged up after a year

It’s an ok blender, but not for the price. It often gets stuck or does not blend well and the jar began to fog up in the first year. A glass jar would have been more appropriate.

I love this blender. I’ve been trying to incorporate more smoothies into my diet and my Blendtec blender is making it easy. The preset buttons are super useful and clean-up is a breeze. And I really appreciate the small footprint and low height. It fits easily on my kitchen counter so I can leave it out…I’m more likely to make a smoothie if I don’t have to lug my blender out of a cabinet. It’s a little loud, but most blenders are. This one is worth the noise. It’s a good, solid machine and I would highly recommend it.

Not as powerful as my old Oster blender that I’ve had for 25+ years. I thought it was time to upgrade since I’m making smoothies every morning but it is not as great as I had hoped for. It’s so loud my husband leaves the room when I warn him I’m starting it up. I load my ingredients in recommended order but it gets stuck on small ice cubes and dates. Very disappointing considering the price tag. Would not recommend.

i had a vitamin for years and was intrigued by the wild side’s claim to not needing to use a tool to push the ingredients for mixing. I have tried several recipes and all disappoint on the mechanics. i end up using my spatula to scrape the sides of the wild side blender for hummus, for mincing garlic, for batters. i have to say i prefer the vitamin for its lower blade so things don’t get stuck on the bottom of the jar.
