I have wanted a Blendtec for some time. I have a Magic Bullet I use for smoothies mostly but it does a so so job blending everything smoothly. My new Blendtec does a fabulous job at the touch of one button. I also tried it out with cake batter. I just tossed everything in and hit the batter button and voila! Perfect batter. Also, decided to make some almond milk which was supper easy. So far, I'm loving this thing.

Great product. My son is a picky eater, so started doing blends of vegetables and fruits. Had a Ninja before this, but it did not blend grape skins and few other things very well, so he had trouble drinking. This does a pretty good job of blending everything.

My husband has been having a fruit/veggie smoothy everyday for the past few years. I have owned the cheap blenders & got tired of having to stir the ingredients several times because the blender was not powerful enough. In the end, it was smooth & I assumed that was just the way it had to be. Then a friend told me she loved her ninja blender, so I got one of those. It did mix faster, but the consistency was not super smooth because of the vegetables, but my husband didn't mind so we kept it. My sister came to visit & she made herself a smoothy with fruit/vegetables/grains & she could barely finish it because of the texture. A few days later she was at Costco & the Blendtec was on sale, so I bought one. The first time I used it, I was amazed. It is exactly how I think a blender should perform. I wish I would have not been so worried about the price & bought it a lot sooner. With the 8 year warranty, I feel that I will save money in the long run. I love it!
