Great lblender but for thicker blends, a tamper would be nice. I have to shake the blender if the ingredients are thick. I have the blender resting on a thick mouse pad allowing me to easily shake the container.

My dad's Blendtec has over 5,000 blends. So what do I Do? Throw away my Vitamix and jump on the Blendtec train. Had a little bit of an issue though.....very strong blender. Make sure the lid is on all the way. Enjoy the video!

I'm so glad I gave Blendtec a second chance. The first one we bought did not work straight out of the box. It kept giving an Overload error. Decided to exchange it for a new one and so glad we did! Love it so much more than our old Vitamix, so much cheaper, too! Thanks to the Blendtec, we now drink a green juice for breakfast every morning.

Bought this when my cheaper blender broke. I wasn't sure if I should splurge and get a really good blender or just get another cheap one. I decided to splurge, and couldn't decide between blendtec or vitamix. Decided on the blendtec because it looks so nice and I read some really great reviews. It blend sooo well! Green smoothies are perfect, banana ice cream is fluffy, soups are smooth, and anything I've blended takes 30 seconds. Amazing! I use it almost everyday!!! It is a powerful blender, so it can be a bit noisy, but it really doesn't make a difference because it blends so fast!
