I bought this Deluxe Vegetable Peeler to replace one that I had purchased a few years ago and recently lost. I LOVED the one I had, but I do not find this replacement meets the qualities of the one I lost. The blades do not "grab" the peel as well, the blade does not take as large a swath of peel, it seems to be too loose, or floppy. The blade on the previous one was excellent for creating carrot peels for salads, and tackling tough skins like on squash or pumpkin. This one is just average.
