The extra bigness makes a colossal difference. I have recommended this tool to everyone and their brother. The quality , well , going strong after 6 years like it was born yesterday. Miles ahead of anything I ve used in my 71 years. My uncle down the street was an Olympic Culinary Team member and had a pastry shop a block from the whitehouse . Also a cooking school in his house. He was so good that the International Epicurean Convention in Wash DC would not let him enter his 8 foot cakes in the contest. He did tho exhibit one each year. Probably the finest cakes in the world. As a youngster I spent a lot of time at his house void of furniture , just long sturdy tables in a row for his cooking school. So I think I can identify the best tool for the job. This peeler wins the Gold. Im sure you will agree instantly.
