What the other reviewers are saying is exactly right! The size of this tool is perfect. I work at a university & an industrial design professor I know says the best tools are those that feel comfortable - almost feel as though they become "part" of your hand as you work. This is exactly how the party spreader feels. In fact all the Rada tools & cutlery I have feel this way. You become comfortable and accustomed to working with Rada utensils very quickly. The party spreader is sturdy enough for both stiffer spreads like peanut butter, cream cheese, certain cheeses - but softer jams, mustards, mayos, pestos etc as well. I like this smaller one so much I ordered the Super Spreader too, which is longer & good for frosting cakes, making sandwiches etc.

Like the size of the party spreader. Use it as a knife and also use to spread frosting, cheese etc. I have other pieces of Rada and like them all.
