I've purchased almost everything to have, this year, I purchased the granny paring knife for people at tje shelter. Love them all. I don't like the silver handles which tend to.put black on your hands after being washed. Think I've taken care of the issue. Over all, they are wonderful and Ill.never buy another knife anywhere else. The food products are great, and will be using some of them through the holiday season.

We are seeing your comment on your Rada silver handled knives
leaving a black residue on your hands after washing. Oxidation on aluminum handles is most often caused by the abrasive detergents, high temperatures used in a dishwasher, as well as if left in wet conditions. When oxidation occurs, aluminum may appear dull with a gray or black residue. This is merely a characteristic of aluminum and in no way affects the durability of the handle or the performance of the knife.
If your knives have suffered from oxidation, you can use a cleanser such as Bar Keepers Friend. Using this product as directed will help return knives to their pre-oxidized condition.
Hand washing all fine cutlery is recommended to protect your knives from corrosion and extend the life of their finish. Please contact us with any additional questions at customerservice@radacutlery.com.
