I thought I picked out the one I wanted but I didn’t. This model still requires you to hold the switch on while vacuuming. Also you have to take the stick part off to empty the cup. This is a pain for me. Not as happy as I was with my other one. But, I do like the light when vacuuming. Also the suction is terrific! The down side is you have to change the head part to vacuum scatter rugs. Very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my 5th Dyson. I’ve had 4 handheld vacuums (a v6- v7 animal- v8 absolute and a v11 animal. This machine is my 5th handled and it’s outstanding. I love the green laser on the fluffy. It’s amazing and gross, how much buildup of hair and dirt is on my hard surfaces. Great choice. I love my Dyson ball too. I have a ton of carpet and it amazes me how much dirt and hair the ball picks up too. I’d recommend the Dyson products to everyone. They are worth the money.

This is our first Dyson product and we are thrilled with it. We recently installed new laminate flooring on the first floor of our home, replacing carpet. We wanted a vacuum that would work well on hard flooring. TLet me tell you that the Dyson v15 is amazing. The light on the 'light and fluffy' attachment allows you to see the dirt and dust on the floor while you're vacuuming, and it's readily apparent how clean the floors are after you're done vacuuming. We love the fact that it's cordless and have expanded the use of the vacuum beyond just hard flooring. It does a great job on carpet as well! Highly recommended!

As the man of the house sweeping the floors has always been my job. I've never skimped on quality when purchasing a sweeper or any other tool. I've owned the best of the rest at one time or the other. The Dyson v15 detect is amazing. It makes sweeping the floors, rugs, and carpets a breeze. Not only does it sweep better but gets the job done in half the time. I have two large dogs and they shed a lot. The detect laser feature makes an easy job of the hardwood and tile. The main sweeper head is also fantastic. No going over and over the rugs and carpet, it gets it done in one pass saving time and effort. I could go on but again this is the best sweeper I've owned and highly recommend. Worth every penny spent.

SO happy and thrilled with my Dyson! Amazing how much dirt and especially dog hair it picks up! Vacuuming is so much better on the back now. Very impressed with the versatility of the machine. Yes, it is pricey yet SO worth it!
