After cracking my screen for the first time in my history of smartphones (12 years) and had it replaced, I was looking for a more protective case than the Samsung EF-QA530 that had failed to protect the phone. I was torn between the Unicorn Beetle Pro and the Otterbox Commuter. After reading tons of reviews I decided to go with the Commuter as it felt better matched to what I was looking for. The UB Pro would also include a screen protector but it appeared to have less bolstering. Also I did not like the excessively industrial design of the UB Pro. The Commuter is much chunkier and thicker but I feel it will protect my phone better.
Materials and fit are excellent altough the plastic back is a bit too slippery for my car mag-mount. When I drive on uneven pavement the phone sometimes slips off the holder. Other than that I have no complaints so far.

I bought this case in early January and it arrived on the exact date it said it would. The only bad thing I have to say is that the samsung galaxy A series has only 1-2 case options per phone. I feel like if otterbox made more options available for these types of phones, more people would buy from them. Maybe just add in a few different colour options. The other thing i would like to say is that I went to different 5 phone stores and none of them had this otterbox case, but they had at least one of every other case for all of the phones that otterbox caters for. Other than that the case is great for everyday use!
