Folders Black Silk Dark Coffee for Homemade Coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary 9.6 oz (272g) tub of Folgers Black Silk Dark Coffee from Influenster in return for my honest opinion. I do not drink coffee, but I do make my own exfoliating coffee body scrub using sugar, oil (such as coconut oil or olive oil), body wash, coffee, and sometimes essential oils. This coffee was probably not the best choice because it was not ground very fine; it's better to use instant coffee when making body scrubs.

Robust Flavor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Folgers still has the iconic packaging that has been known since I was a kid and my father drank it. This makes it easy to find in stores. The aroma when opening the lid reminds me of times gone by but with a more robust flavor. I used my French press to brew a cup of this flavorful coffee which was easy as the grounds were perfect for this process. Though I generally use my Keurig to make my coffee in the morning but I could use this to make multiple cups when I have company.

Bold and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ☕️ This smooth coffee is bold, dark, and delicious without tasting burnt or bitter. I enjoy a dark roast better than anything else. Though, it seems to contain a bit more caffeine than a normal cup of joe. It definitely stands up to ice and half n’ half as a cold brew.
