A wonderful aroma that reminds me of home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma alone made me fall in love of this coffee. As soon as I opened the container I could smell the coffee scent, something that my mom and I have been looking in the lasts months. This coffee is a reminded of that Cuban coffee that we used to roast at home. It’s smooth on the palate but strong enough to remember that one we used to take. It is also a versatile coffee, because you can brew it strong, expresso style or add extra water in your coffee maker and enjoy a great American coffee, and prepare it your favorite creamers or sweeteners. If I had to sum it up, I would highlight it’s incredible aroma, its flavor and the texture.

Can manage strength better than KCups which I prefer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee is very tasty and I would reach for the canister of this blend before the KCups as I like the darker roast taste and can manage that with this. It is medium in strength and has a bold coffee aroma. This coffee does have a bitter aftertaste that is slightly acidic which is more prominent when drinking it black. With that said, I prefer it with cream and sugar. I used this in my espresso machine for a concentrated shot of coffee and made an iced latte; it was pretty good!

Flavor and quality inside the package

This coffee blew me away. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting it to be as complex as it is. Black Silk tastes somewhat fruity, almost like chocolate, and has just a hint of a bitter taste from the dark roast. It reminds me of a rasberry dark chocolate if you've ever had one. All I know is I enjoy the taste a lot and it would probably lend itself well to some kind of caramel creamer. I drank mine black and cold and to me, it makes a very good black iced coffee.

BEST dark roast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Folgers Black Silk has been a family favorite for quite some time - it’s a dark roast, but smooth and doesn’t have the bitterness that so many mass market coffees have! It’s a bit more than other standard roasts, but it’s also gentle and drinkable. We are black coffee drinkers and Folgers is definitely the best bet for our household.
