I have been a satisfied user of Black Silk blend. BUT, it has changed. It was comparable to a Star Bucks dark blend. It was a dark roast with great aroma, a fantastic taste, etc. But recently when opening the can I noticed the lack of "Black Silk" roast aroma and a definite lighter color in the coffee. WHAT HAS HAPPENED? Is their a new name for the old roast?
This is my last purchase of the Black Silk blend as currently available. I can no longer recommend this roast. It is not as advertised and labeled!
We have been using this coffee for years and now it tastes like hot water. We have increased the amount of grounds we add to the pot but it doesn't help much. I have no idea what happened but for now, I have purchased my last canister.
I HAVE BEEN BUYING THIS FOR YEARS. NOTICE LATELY THE BLACK SILK IS NOT SO DARK ANYMORE? DID THEY CHANGE SOMETHING? EVERYONE AT WORK NOTICE IT IS NOT THE SAME DARK TASTE. MAYBE TIME TO CHANGE
This coffee tastes fantastic, It has abeautiful aroma which fills the air. It's silky smooth and nutty flavor stands the test of time to be enjoyed from first cup to the last. It took us a while to fidget with the strength because this roast pretty potent. It is the best dark roast coffee ever brewed through our machine. Black Silk is a winner.
