The best coffee, but lately hard to find on the shelve. Tried the intensely dark, not the same bitter taste

I have been an avid Maxwell House drinker for most of my early adult years. I finally tried Folgers and stumbled upon Black Silk and fell in love! Congrats Folgers, you’ve lured me to the dark side

Noticed a change in quality

We are die hard fans of Black Silk but recently noticed a weaker thin and bitter flavor. We had to increased the amount of coffee grounds to compensate. We purchased another coffee maker (same brand) and still the same diminished quality. Has something changed with how this coffee is processed?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been in love with Folgers coffee for over 27 years and it's still the only greatest tasting coffees around... I've tried others over the years however non of them other brands came close to the wonderful smell and the great taste of Folgers. I love all of the Folgers blends all except for the decaf I don't drink that crap.! The Black silk has become my absolute favorite. Folgers has always been one step ahead of others when it comes to great tasting coffee....... Wish I could include a picture because I have tons of Folger coffee containers to prove on how much Folgers coffee I go through.!! Again I'll say Folgers is the absolute best coffee around......

So happy to have tried this Folger’s! We’ve always kept Community dark roast in the house as the daily brew. But they’ve made some change and now their coffee is bitter and just not good. This morning I tried the Folger’s Black Silk, and BAM! Bold but smooth. Exactly what I was looking for! This will be the new staple for daily brewing!
