Surprisinly better than expected.

Dark roast can be tricky without making it taste too bitter, but this one was just as good as some of the other niche brands i have bought from. I will 100% purchase this again & again, as well as recommend this one for anyone who enjoys a dark roast.

First time trying and has a smooth twist to it!

Dark roasts are my favorite and the folger's coffee delicious, i was reallysurprised at how good it was, it was perfect with my cookies and cream creamer. Ive actually stopped ddrinking my usual brand and have been drinking the folgers black silk. It'sreally a great coffee, not bitter like some coffees tend to be. It's smooth and rich and i look forward to having it every morning.

Smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For being named Black Silk I expected this to be a really dark, deep, bitter, strong coffee but the Silk in the name is the shining star! It's so smooth it goes down easy, almost too easy as I'm already on my third cup! It has rich undertones but overall is a very mild coffee.

ALWAYS buy black silk. Last 3 large canisters smelled weak, brewed weak, tasted weak. Even tried upping the amount in my drip coffeemaker. Then tried running it back through the basket. Still NOT the dark and strong aroma I had before. Think it may be time to switch.
