Weird taste

I have loved Blacksilk for years and something is wrong with the flavor. I see everyone is saying that they found it to be weak, so maybe they tried to fix it and just made it nasty. Then we bought the classic and that taste bad too. I’m very disappointed with what Folgers is doing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It lacked the taste i wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my coffee to have more complicated flavors and this just wasn't it. It actually didn't have much flavor or bitterness which is probably preferred by most people.

It does have a bitter after taste

I tried Black Silk to see had it was. My normal purchase is folgers coffeehouse blend, but the store was out of my regular selection. So I tried Black Silk. First off it doesn't seem to be any stronger than coffeehouse, but I detected a bitter after taste that I never experienced with coffeehouse. The description of black silk includes that there is no bitter after taste. That is not true. I will continue to buy folgers coffeehouse, when it is available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the taste and aroma of Folgers, but this roas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review! I thought the Folgers Black Silk coffee was a little too strong and bitter for my taste. I usually prefer a milder or lighter roast coffee, but I wanted to try a different roast and see if i liked it just as well and I didn't. It didn't matter how much creamer or sweetener I added to my cup of coffee I could still taste the bitterness of the coffee. I have always loved the Folgers brand, but this particular roast of coffee fell short of its mark. I will definitely stick to my preferred roast of Folgers coffee.
