[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary sample of Folgers Black Silk from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I should also preface this review by saying that I have been spoiled when it comes to coffee. I grew up in coffeeshops that roasted their own beans. I've also had my share of not-sure-how-old-it-is-diner-coffee. Folgers is somewhere between those two. To give this coffee a fair assessment, I used my french press and spring water. While it tasted a bit stale to me, it's a perfectly fine coffee. I needed to add sugar and some cream, which I don't usually do, but it was fine. Would I seek it out? Probably not. I will finish what I was given though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Folgers French Roast and Black Silk are two of the most popular coffees on the market. I received a canister of each from Insluenster so I wanted to give them a shot. The big question is which one is better, and will it be better than my beloved Dunkies I grab in the wee hours of the morning? Well, let’s take a look at both coffees and see which one comes out on top. Folgers French Roast is a dark roast coffee with a strong, bold flavor. It's perfect for people who like their coffee to be strong and flavorful. Black Silk is a medium roast coffee with a smooth, mellow flavor. It's perfect for people who like their coffee to be light and easy to drink. So, which coffee is better? It really depends on your personal preferences. If you like your coffee strong and bold, then French Roast is the way to go. If you like your coffee light and easy to drink, then Black Silk is the better choice. Personally, I gravitated toward the Black Silk not just because it tasted better, but it sounded fancy. Truthfully, here's the thing: both coffees are pretty good. So, if you're not sure which one to choose, just go with the one that you think you'll like the best. You can't go wrong with either one. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go make a cup of coffee. I'm not sure which flavor I'm in the mood for, but I know it's going to be good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a whole bean coffee family, so ground coffee never gets 5 stars around here.
However, this dark roast ground coffee was strong and solid. If you are looking for a strong coffee that works well with creamer or to make a big pot to feed a crowd this does the trick. I made a 12 cup pot for college students and did not get any complaints. They were happy with the caffeine and drained it dry. I personally like the strong dark roast taste for use in pour-overs at work and used various creamers with it to give it different flavors. I consider this a good basic coffee choice if looking for something cost effective that will go a long way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bold and strong taste. Awesome coffee. Great taste and smooth flavor. We drink coffee in our home daily and this has become our favorite brands. I was given a sample in exchange for my feedback.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Folgers Black Silk Coffee has a very smooth bold flavor. I like how the dark roast flavor is very flavorful without being overpowering or bitter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am struggling with this blend, but it may be me. I normally like a dark blend but haven’t loved this one. It smells amazing brewing. I think may like it better as an iced coffee though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Folgers Black Silk coffee as an Incentivized product from influenster and Folgers for my honest opinion.I have to say, it has become one of my favorites and added to my coffee rotation. The flavor is deep and bold, with a hint of smoothness that sets it apart from other dark roast coffees. The aroma is rich and inviting, making my mornings all the more enjoyable. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is because I found it to be slightly bitter. However, once I added a touch of creamer, it became the perfect cup of coffee. Overall, I highly recommend Folgers Black Silk to anyone who enjoys a strong and full-bodied brew.
