Can't go wrong with the red can of coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red can of coffee was always a staple on our kitchen counter. The commercial was engrained in my head "The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup." But this Folgers Black Silk coffee takes my parents coffee up several notches! I look forward to the smell in the morning when brewing my coffee but the Black Silk roast made it smell like I walking into a quaint coffee shop, not my kitchen. The bold taste was strong and definitely perked me up in the early morning hours. I made my coffee in a pot and after my one cup in the morning I put the remaining in a glass to cool in the refrigerator for the afternoon. It made a delicious iced coffee with creamer. Although I liked the Black Silk brewed hot and as an iced coffee, this was better made as a cold brew! I made a really great concentrate that could be diluted with milk or even a little water if it was too strong. I truly enjoyed the Black Silk blend but I don't think I would purchased in the future.

Really good quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family generally drinks specialty roasts from independent roasters, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this grocery store brand. The flavor was strong but smooth, and there was no hint of bitterness.
We will keep this in our pantry for sure.

Nice strong silky flavor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is my absolute favorite Foldgers coffee. I love dark roast and this is definitely dark roast. Its dark and silky but not overpowering. Absolutelyone to try!

Disappointing Buy

I bought a new container just lately and was looking forward to the refreshing smell of Black Silk when I opened it and was met with a stale, army type coffee smell. It tasted as bad as it smelled. After the price I paid for it I decided I will suffer with the taste. I hope the next one I buy will be as it should be.

Bold dark roast

This is always a flavor I try to have available when my dad visits me because he likes a darker roast coffee. He drinks his coffee plain but I always add creamer and it pairs well with the flavorings I use and it smells great. Definitely will put a pep in your step and get your day started.

Absolutely awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last 20 years of drinking coffee I drink nothing but whole bean "fancier" coffee. My expectations for the two Folgers coffees I received were low. Like below the ground low (no pun intended). I mean it's Folgers. I was blown away by this coffee. Honestly one of the best coffees I've had. We thought it was so good, it is now our daily drinking coffee. We like dark, full flavor coffee. However those kinds of coffees tend to be bitter. Not this one. Dark, flavorful, and silky smooooooth. IT'S SO GOOD!!!

Not my dad’s coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, I definitely did not expect to like this. My dad has always bought Folgers Coffee and I kind of thought he just didn’t know any better. It turns out, this coffee was really good. I like the smooth but rich taste. It’s easy to drink with no bitter aftertaste.
