[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An excellent smooth and tasty dark roast that’s not bitter at all. The plastic, resealable canister is very much appreciated. You don’t need fancy names and prices to enjoy a great solid cup of coffee!

I have to agree with some of the reviews I have read. I was normally a folgers classic roast until black silk came out. It became my favorite. However, the price has gone up so much, I too can't justify paying the current price. Everytime I go to the store it keeps going up. It's disappointing because I no long enjoy black silk.

Folgers has been my go-to for about 20 years. The black silk has a great bold flavor and used to be reasonably priced. I unfortunately can't justify the price anymore, so I will be looking into other options.

GOOD traditional name brand coffee!

tried the KEURIG variety. It was on sale. for a lark. Ive not had a major coffee brand...ever. always Peets. i used to work there. I knew Mr. Peet. this is a GOOD COFFEE. strong but not overly bitter, significant richness. i believed they could make a good coffee, and i was correct. I would buy full price. Go ahead, be a traditionalist and go Folgers. In this case you will likely be happy.

Great coffee but not worth the greed

Best coffee ever made!! However you get one star for raising the price $10 over a few months!! I have been loyal to black silk since it came out. However Folgers just lost a customer due to greed!!! Shame on you Folgers!
