You get what you pay for. Avoid it.

I wanted to keep my business supply costs low so I tried these recycled toner cartridges from Staples. Better price but much worse quality. I tried to make them work for a while but finally gave up hope. First the toner quality is simply not comparable to the Brother OEM product -- it bleeds and dispenses lighter on the paper. It's especially obvious when printing forms with fine print and lines such as tax returns. Secondly I usually pull these out of the wrapper to find leaked toner all over the cartridge. I had one where the the cartridge leaked so bad that I called customer service to get a refund. The personnel that I spoke to were VERY reluctant to offer a credit back and seemed disbelieving that there product was defective. It was not a pleasant customer service experience. I recently switched back to the Brother OEM cartridges and have had no problems with print quality or leaked toner. If you have print media that you are providing to clients and you care how it presents you'd be better to avoid pinching pennies (well dollars) and not buying this inferior Staples product.

Works just as great as a new one lets recycle what we can and hey even pay at a lower cost. Go Mother Earth!

Black Toner Printer Cartridge

This cartridge is terrific. We are very pleased with it. The cartridge quality is superb. We have found that the cartridge is easy to change. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. We have not had any problems with leaking toner at all. The cartridge slips into place easily too. In addition the used cartridge returns slip into the box easily I would definitely buy another Staples Sustainable Earth Remanufacture Toner Cartridge Brother TN-650 High Yield by Sustainable Earth.

I find that these Staples brand remanufactured toner cartridges are every bit as reliable as OEM toner cartridges. I order these parts regularly for our office use and note that they routinely last as long as the more costly Brother units. My desktop A-I-O unit gets plenty of use during our and I tend to run lots of multi-page copies that are always consistent in quality. It gives me a good feeling to be able to recycle and reuse these parts and contribute less as trash to the county landfill!
