These toners don't fit right. They will print one file and then pop up as needing replaced.

Great product reliable and high quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to keep at least one extra cartridge in case I get very busy with work and don't remember to stock up before a major project. This cartridge stores a lot of ink provides high-quality prints and it is extremely reliable. Of course Staples is a name we can trust to give us what we need at affordable prices and that is what I received with this cartridge. I received this as a promotional item as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but I have already bought two more to have my backups. Do as I do --- keep at least one backup cartridge and never worry about running low or running out. With quality like this you do not have to be concerned with looking bad in front of your clients or customers. I am very happy with this cartridge and I believe you will be too!

Solid product with good quality

Near identical replacement but frustrating install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a homeschooling Mom to 4 so our printer is one of the things that we consider an essential part of getting things done. That being said when our toner was running low I was looking for a budget friendly replacement and discovered that Staples has replacement ink cartridges. Initial Presentation: The cartridge came well buffered for transit with cushioning on both sides of the container and was enclosed in a plastic sealed bag. Additionally there was an extra precaution with plastic buffers enclosing the ink portion and sensor. The box did come with instructions although I did just look up a video as I needed a better visual as I have never changed the ink in this printer. The packaging does note that it is eco friendly which I'm assuming means it can break down over time however that wasn't a dealbreaker for me and although that is a nice feature I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way looking for an eco friendly box vs not if one was cheaper vs the other. Quality: I do feel it is an equivalent quality and value to the existing cartridge and also appreciate that Staples guarantees the quality and clearly lists a contact number for questions or complaints right on the box. When a company stands behind their products that is a BIG plus in my eyes vs purchasing from somewhere random online. Performance: so far so good! I did encounter some technical difficulties as this was my first replacement and initially I was trying to ro.click it in backwards but after watching a video and two test pages it seemed to run as normal so I'd definitely recommend this as an option for those needing a replacement ink. Replacing an ink cartridge can be frustrating no matter who you are but I'm glad that we were able to find an affordable quality product that will help our homeschooling journey. Overall I'd recommend but taking off a star for installation instructions as honestly a bit of color on the instructions page would have helped me decipher whether it was upside down or not. As a full disclosure I did receive this product in exchange for my honest review as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Any opinions are my own.

Great toner

I'm very impressed with the quality and consistency. It performs just as well as the Brother toner that came with my printer! I am reviewing this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

solid value easy install and eco friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Staples Remanufactured Black High Yield Toner Cartridge Replacement for Brother TN227 as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it definitely did its job without any headaches. The installation process was super easy—snapped right in like it was made for my printer (because it was). No error codes no drama just clicked it in and started printing. Performance-wise it’s been great. The prints are clean and sharp and the high yield means I’m not constantly running out of ink. Definitely a good value for how much you get. I also love that it’s eco-friendly—remanufactured and came in minimal recyclable packaging. Always nice when a product actually works and makes you feel like you’re doing something decent for the planet. If you want to save money and keep your prints looking pro this one’s a solid pick.
