good color hp printer kept giving cartridge error

I was able to print with this cartridge for 2 days. The pics/forms I printed were wonderful color but after 2 days my hp printer continually gave an error message about cartridge incorrect. No matter how many times I took it out reinstalled and printed alignment page I could not get anything to print from computer when sent.
