OtterBox is the best

The protection that this case gives my new iPad is no different than than the protection that OtterBox has given my iPhone over the past years, reliable and resilient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Otterbox Defender for my iPad 10th generation and absolutely LOVE it! I always purchase protection for my new devices and always Otterbox because they make the best products available. This one is used on my 5 year olds iPad and given that she drops it multiple times I never have to worry about any cracked screens or damages. Like ever! The sturdiness of these products are A+ definitely a must buy!

The tilt mechanism for reading/gaming is cheesy. Not smooth and very awkward to adjust in/out. Feels like it will break very easily. Also, no screen protector unlike other otter box cases

Sorry to hear you're not feeling super confident in the durability of the shield stand portion of the Defender Series Pro case for iPad (10th gen). The mechanism that helps allow for hands-free viewing and such didn't give us cause for concern during our internal testing, but we'd certainly be happy to help with a warranty replacement if something should come up.
As for a specific screen protector, although this model doesn't have one built directly into the frame, we do make some stand-alone ones that can be paired with the case for extra security if you'd be interested in adding another layer to the mix. The solid plastic clip on back and stand see aweful the case itself is alright but do not waste your money just go buy i nice one piece you will break the stand becuse it is weak and very hard to close and open especially don’t recommend for protecting a kids iPad get something easier to use

Missing slip cover

Great product but I was disappointed to find out there isn’t a protective cover on the screen. I exchanged what I thought was defective for another one that didn’t have a plastic cover. Disappointing

Technically, the slipcover of the Defender Series case is the synthetic rubber layer that wraps around the back and sides of the inner plastic shell. But we get what you were meaning, and it is correct that there is no screen protector included.
That said, we do make a few different glass screen protectors for the iPad (10th Gen) that can be added to the mix if that's something you'd be interested in.
