[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been around other people's machines that grind coffee and always thought they were annoyingly loud. When I got my Philips machine, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the grinding process is. My other favorite thing about the machine is how easy it is to pull the water reservoir out to refill. Straight out, fill, straight back in. Simple. Emptying the lower tray of water and grounds is also super easy. I love this machine!

Makes a great coffee. Aqua clean filter problems!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are enjoying the coffee machine. It makes a great expresso, coffee and latte. It is an upgrade for us and does require more attention such as emptying the drip tray and coffee grinds daily, oil removing, oiling, and frequent changing of the water filter. Mostly, we are good with all of these and feel they are worth the enjoyment of a better brew.
The aqua clean filter has been an issue for us. It should last for 3 to 6 months but ours was used in 6 weeks despite the fact that we only use water that has been previously filtered. It is a must to preserve the warranty so quite an additional extra expense. This component definitely needs improving.
No more plastic cups is a big plus.
