No PFAS, but what's the pot made of, coated with?

It's a great rice cooker, like one would expect from Zojirushi. I purchased it because I wanted a rice cooker that didn't have a non-stick coating. This is marketed as PFAS free, but I do wish I was clearer on the pot's composition and coating, if anything. There is a finish on it, not completely non-stick, but some kind of treatment. That said, I am feeling better about using this rice cooker than our previous neuro-fuzzy, in which the nonstick coating had begun to flake and scratch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

For the NS‑TPC10/18 models, the inner cooking pan uses a PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone)–based nonstick coating, which does not contain PTFE, PFOA, or other PFAS‑related substances, and is also BPA‑free. Its great, really like the PFAS option. Our old one started flaking off the bowl surface so that was a really important feature.

It seems to work as well as other zojirushi rice cookers (perhaps less functionality than some of the higher end models), while being free from PFAS. That’s all I was looking for.
