Great concept, worked fine, now cheaper quality

I loved these 13 years ago when I bought them. Designed my whole kitchen around them. They worked great and stored tons. A much better idea than the high end built ins. Then the fridge went out and had to buy a whole new set. Am sorely disappointed in the new models. Lots of wasted space on the doors for both fridge and freezer. Who needs 4 veg bins?? Super plasticy ice tray for freezer. Would have never bought these again buy have to unless redesign kitchen. These are such a great idea, Whirlpool, why did you ruin them???

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having units for 3 years and 7 months being told repair was going to be $900. I decided to replace the freezer. To my surprise / disappointment the door does not match my old fridge. Facing having to replace fridge I found with some modifications the old door will fit on the new freezer. It was pretty obvious that the design changes were not needed since mostly cosmetic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Looking...people think I have a Sub-Zero

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good, no problems with either freezer or refrigerator. I wish it had adjustable shelves and a digital numeric display inside. Since no big box stores care this product I had to research the web for pictures to look inside.

Not worth your money!!!

we have had this freezer/fridge combo for 2 years and abkut a year ago it began leaking water and still continues to leak just about every morning I have to mop up water and just recently the freezer quit working. it runs but won't freeze! biggest piece of junk

Great freezer but expensive for what you get.

The freezer this one replaces showed the actual temperature , which could be controlled , and had much better lighting . It cost less than half of what I paid for this freezer. To be fair this freezer is larger, and quieter than the old one.
