Nice inside and out

Does Exactly What It’s Supposed to Do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To me, the purpose of a freezer/refrigerator is to keep things cold. Not to deliver ice or water externally, call your cell phone to tell you that you need milk when you’re at the supermarket, or let you see what’s inside without opening the door. All that fluff just breaks, and causes aggravation. This Freezer and refrigerator pair do exactly what they’re supposed to do - keep things cold - and nothing so complicated that it begs for trouble later.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've had this freezer for a few months now and it seems pretty good overall. There is a water leak in the ice machine but i feel that is an installer problem, not a manufacturer problem. It's a spacious freezer that chills the food very quickly and has a cold blast feature that is very handy. I do wish the wire baskets had more extension as they only pull out about half way. The door shelves are well sized however limited in their placement due to the bracket to connect them to the door. It's pretty quiet also. My biggest complaint though is the stainless steel marks up incredibly easily. My previous fridge/freezer units showed almost nothing compare to this unit. The unit came with a lot of foam and batt insulation sticking out from the seams fo the door, the door was replaced by the seller. Lastly, the interior space is relatively dim, a few more side lights would help greatly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really pleased with this purchase. The only place for our previous freezer was the garage. It worked well enough but with the hot Arizona weather, it ran at times continually. A few years back we had purchased a Stainless Steel finish Whirlpool fridge and we placed it adjacent to the kitchen where it served as a cold drink fridge and matched beautifully with our Whirlpool side by side (same finish). We decided to replace the old freezer and found this version matching perfectly with our cold drink fridge. Now that our freezer is indoors it nowhere near runs as often. Also being newer technology it was far more efficient. Shelving and storage space is perfect and it is very quiet. Highly recommend!
