Perfect size for lunch

I have warmed soups, stews and casseroles in this for lunch and it's just the right temperature for all of them. The food has been great no matter how long it was plugged in. I put frozen vegies with cooked rice and chicken and everything was warmed perfectly. The seal on the inner lid is great, even soups don't spill when carrying them. I put the food in the serving bowl the night before, put it in the fridge, and put it in the crock-pot in the morning. Can you tell it's my new favorite lunch box? I love that I don't have to use a microwave and the container doesn't leach any chemicals into my food like plastic would.
Pros: warms food without over cooking it
Cons: haven't found any

I was a Short Bowel Syndrome patient at birth and as a result, to optimize my nutritional intake, I have to eat more often than usual.
I shopped tirelessley to find a comfortable and healthy way to heat my meals while working. After searching for almost 12 months, I found this great product that allows me to prepare my meals overnight, pack the next day and enjoy perfectly warmed meals!
I bought my warmer almost 2 years ago and it is still working well. I have no damages or defects and I recently purchased 2 additional inserts so I can have 3 meals, since I am typically working long hours. No one even knows I have one at work! I keep the warmer in my desk drawer and plug it in behind the drawer.
I warm everything in it....soup, stews, potatoes, rice, vegetables...you name it! Eating while working and staying healthy in the process has become more enjoyable and feels normal rather than a hindrance; thanks to this simple, yet effective, not to mention, cute invention.
I highly recommend this product. It is light, compact, easy to clean and safe to operate.
Thank you to the masterminds behind this. You have truly changed a life for the best!

Perfect for this Frigid Winter

I'm so glad I purchased this little crockpot. It's made my lunchtime the highlight of my workday. I'm able to bring leftovers and canned soup to heat up in the crock pot. Plug it in when I get to work and it's ready at noon.
My only negative is with the inner lid. I wished it fitted more tightly so I could travel with soup in it without leaking. For now I bring my soup in its can or I freeze homemade soup in the inner container.

i bought this originally for my hubby to have something hot for lunch in the winter at his job. he loved it from the first use. he can have leftovers or soup ready when he is and not have to "nuke" something and wait. i bought myself one and even though i stay home, i can have something ready also. if i get busy, lunch is there. i did buy extra insets and when i make big batches of meals, i can pack extras right into them and refrigerate til needed or just pack the leftovers right into them. highly recommend to anyone, busy or not. it seems to fit everyone.

Use it every day however something needs to be done about the cord

I love this crock, I use it almost everyday at work. The food heats nicely, and this works for a variety of food. It makes taking lunch so convenient that I am not even tempted to get fast food when someone does a food run (great for the waist line).
The only problem I have with this is that I have had to replace it twice (I am on my third one) in the past year. This is a bit costly. The position of the cord, plus how tight you have to pull it in order to wrap it and lock the cord in place causes the protective coat on the cord to wear. The first time this happened, I didn't know until it shorted out and blew a fuse and shut down my whole work station. The second time, I noticed the wear early so didn't ruin anything. I now check the cord regularly, and I noticed the cord on my third crock is worn through.
While I enjoy this, I am trying to determine if it is worth the money to replace it again! If I had the ability to leave this at work (we share work stations between the three shifts) then it might not have become a problem. However, I can not get around taking this to and from work everyday and I really do not having lose cords hanging willy nilly. If the cord were to attach at the side rather than at the bottom then one could wrap it in the direction that it is set in (if it were to be attached almost flush with the unit) or at least be able to more easily loop it through the handle. Another option would be a detachable cord as you see on so many other kitchen appliances.
Pros: convenient, good size (good serving size), heats well, easy to clean
Cons: poor design on cord could cause fire or do damage, too costly to replace regularly, needs more inserts

Love this product

I love this product just like everyone else. Pot looks small at first, but when you start eating it seems bottomless. I'm female so a man probably would like it a little bigger, but it holds more than it looks like it would. I also like that it fits into a med. size lunch bag that can hold a plate, spoon etc. Overall it is a great product.
I put uncooked celery and onions in it with cooked noodles, tuna and soup and the raw veggies cooked enough that I had my casserole at lunch.
My only complaint was that I couldn't find it in a store any where this Christmas because I wanted to give it for presents.
Cons: not a thing

Great for lunch at work!

I received this as a Christmas gift from my sister. It is great for soup at my desk. Fourty five minutes and soup is hot. Would be nice if it had an on/off switch as outlets are not easy to get to in cube world. Now I don't have to wait in line for microwave use. Lunch time comes, take the lid off and I'm in business! Looking forward to getting lots of use from this great gift!
Pros: very easy to use!
Cons: have to unplug to turn off.

I have 2 of these lunch crocks and LOVE them. They heat my lunch to just the right temperature for me. Not too hot and not warm. Just right.
