Love the Lunch Crocks, my boys use them quite often during the week for school. The only problem we've had is the inside container lids do not stay on tight and we've had spills. We now prepare the food in a sealed container and pour into the crock before heating. Alternately, we use a rubber band to hold the lid in place for non-liquid meals. Still, it's a great convenience and a way to eat healthy on-the-run!
Heats to the perfect temperature. I don't eat in the same room as I heat up my crockpot and moving the inner container with a snap lid is precarious. If that could screw on as well as the outer lid does that would be better.
I got this cute little lunch crock pot as a Christmas gift for my daughter in law. Knowing that she loves hot lunches, I figured this would be perfect. I'm excited to give it to her and see.
I totally enjoy this product! When I enter the teachers lounge on a cold winters day, after recess duty, I know that my soup will be warm and waiting for me. I cannot express what a comfort that is. The size of the interior is perfect .. maybe too big for most soups. I have not tried any noodle or rice and sauce dishes yet, but I think those would work too. Temperature - produces a just starting to steam soup. Seal works during transport. Cleanup is easy.
Pros: transports well, warms food to a good temperature
This little crock is the best! Our staff lunchroom is so crowded at lunchtime and lots of times I don't have time to sit and eat something hot. With my little crock it's always hot and ready when I am. My husband tells me I look like Laura Ingalls going to school with her lunch pail:)
